What is the Trucheck™ blood test?
Trucheck™ is a circulating-tumour-cell blood test offered within the combined whole-body screening pathway. It is a screening investigation, not a diagnosis, and your doctor will explain its limitations before you proceed.
How long does the whole-body screening take?
The comprehensive whole-body screen typically takes between 2 to 4 hours. This includes your clinical consultation, physical examination, blood tests, ECG, and the Full Body MRI scan.
Is the MRI scan safe?
Yes, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of the body. Unlike X-rays or CT scans, it does not use ionising radiation, making it low risk for routine screening.
How do I get my results?
Once all your tests and imaging reports are complete (usually within 7-14 working days), you will have a dedicated, in-person results review appointment with your doctor. They will explain every finding in plain English and provide personalised recommendations.
