The investigations
Resting ECG. A 12-lead recording of the heart's electrical activity at rest (£110). Available to book online as a standalone appointment, or arranged after your consultation when clinically indicated.
Exercise stress test. A supervised treadmill recording that shows how your heart rhythm and blood supply respond to physical exertion. The fee is confirmed with you before the test is booked.
Holter monitoring. A compact wearable rhythm recorder, typically worn across 24 to 72 hours to capture intermittent symptoms. A 24-hour Holter monitor, including full analysis and cardiologist report, is £520.
ABPM. 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring to track day and night readings outside the clinic room. The fee is confirmed before the monitor is arranged.
Echocardiography. A detailed ultrasound scan of the heart muscle, chambers and valves. The fee is confirmed with you before the scan is booked.

How results come back
Because a resting ECG trace, a multi-day Holter recording and an echocardiogram involve very different analysis, there is no single turnaround time that applies to every cardiac test.
Results and follow-up
Results vary by investigation. Once your report is ready, our clinic reviews the findings and explains what they mean for your agreed management plan, or what next step is sensible if the picture has changed.
