117a Harley St, London. Est 1984.
Preventative health screening, always doctor-led. Four assessment tiers from £495 to £3,350.
A top-to-toe doctor's assessment covering 60 to 100+ health markers, measurements and investigations, with imaging and specialist input added by tier. All results are reviewed in person by your own Harley Street doctor.
A doctor-led full body MOT at Medical Express Clinic on Harley Street combines a GP consultation, physical examination and blood tests, with ECG, lung tests, ultrasound, mammogram or MRI added by tier. It reports on the risks and findings this assessment is designed to look for, provides current measurements and gives you a doctor-led plan for anything that needs attention. You can book online.
People who feel well use it as a baseline, while others book because of age, family history or a long gap since a proper examination. Screening cannot rule out every future illness. Book an MOT when you want that baseline.
Blood results are useful, but they are not the whole assessment, so your GP reviews your medical and family history, checks your blood pressure and heart rhythm, listens to your heart and lungs, examines your abdomen and considers whether the test results fit the person in front of them.
That clinical context helps separate a result that needs action from one that needs monitoring, repeating or no treatment at all.
In a recent Medical Express Clinic snapshot, 93% of completed MOTs had at least one blood result outside its reference range. That is why the doctor reviews every result with the examination, medicines and history before deciding whether anything needs to happen. A result outside the reference range is not a diagnosis.
What happens after interpretation matters just as much as the test. Medical Express Clinic has built a trusted specialist network over more than 40 years on Harley Street. If a finding points towards cardiology, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, imaging or another specialty, your GP can explain why a referral is appropriate and direct it to a clinician with the relevant expertise. You are not left with a report that says something may be wrong but gives you no practical route forward.
These figures come from Medical Express Clinic MOT results completed between 24/04/2026 and 25/08/2026. They describe what we see here, not UK-wide research. Results outside the reference range can be temporary, need no treatment, or be affected by medicines and supplements.
Medical Express Clinic offers Harley Street health MOTs from age 18 onwards. Some patients want a first baseline. Others come with a family history, a demanding job, previous smoking, a new fitness goal or a long gap since their last proper examination. The blood work sits alongside our wider private blood tests if you later need a single marker repeated. Book a health MOT when you are ready.
If you would rather choose by age, sex and common screening priorities, our Well Man and Well Woman guides may be more helpful. They explain the cardiovascular, hormone, prostate, breast, cervical and gynaecological questions that can influence the right level of assessment, then guide you towards the appropriate MOT tier. You can also book the MOT comparison directly.
Continue regular medicines unless instructed otherwise, arrive hydrated, and fast only if Medical Express Clinic gives you a specific instruction for your selected tests. Book your visit.
Your GP takes your history and examines you before the nursing measurements, blood draw, ECG and any imaging included in your tier.
Your doctor reviews the completed reports with you in person and explains which findings need action, monitoring or no treatment.
Essential and Advanced reports are usually complete in 3-5 working days, Elite in 5-7 working days and Ultimate in 7-10 working days. The review is arranged when the relevant reports are ready. Book online if you already know the tier.
If a result needs repeating, a risk factor needs treatment or imaging needs specialist review, the same clinic can arrange the next step. Essential includes the in-person results review; further visits are booked if needed. Follow-up can stay inside the same private GP practice rather than ending with a one-off screening report.
Every MOT has limits on what it can show. Its value comes from combining the examination, blood results and any imaging, then having a doctor decide what the findings mean together rather than treating one test as an all-clear.
New, severe or worsening symptoms still need a GP or urgent assessment. If an MOT identifies a concern, Medical Express Clinic can arrange the focused diagnostic test or specialist referral needed to take the next step. To arrange screening rather than urgent care, book a health MOT.

Service information reviewed 26 August 2026.
Essential costs £495 and Advanced £999. Elite costs £1,850 for men and £2,095 for women. Ultimate costs £2,950 for men, £3,350 for women with gynaecology, or £2,950 for women without the gynaecology component. Blood collection is included in these prices.
Essential suits a first doctor-led baseline. Advanced adds respiratory, fitness and hormone assessment. Elite adds gender-specific imaging and specialist input. Ultimate adds full-body MRI and the broadest investigation set. Age, symptoms, family history and the question you want answered should guide the choice.
The NHS Health Check is a cardiovascular risk check offered to eligible adults aged 40-74. Medical Express Clinic MOTs are private doctor-led assessments with a physical examination, broader laboratory testing and optional imaging by tier. Neither type of screening can rule out every condition.
Fast only if Medical Express Clinic gives you a specific instruction for your selected tests, continue regular medicines unless the clinic tells you otherwise, and drink water before attending.
Essential and Advanced usually take 3-5 working days, Elite 5-7 working days and Ultimate 7-10 working days. Your in-person review is arranged when the relevant reports are complete.
You receive a secure interactive digital report of more than 30 pages, with longer reports for higher tiers and added investigations. Your doctor reviews every result before meeting you in person to go through the report, answer questions and agree any next step.
Your GP interprets it with the rest of your results, medical history and examination. The next step may be no action, monitoring, lifestyle advice, treatment, repeat testing or specialist referral. A laboratory result is not a diagnosis by itself.
Use the Well Man or Well Woman guide if you want help choosing around age, sex and common screening priorities. Each guide explains the relevant cardiovascular, hormone and sex-specific considerations before directing you to an appropriate MOT tier.
Ultimate includes full-body MRI at a partner imaging centre. Review the Ultimate page or comparison table to choose the male, female, or female-without-gynaecology option.
New, severe or worsening symptoms need a GP or urgent assessment rather than waiting for a screening appointment.
