When blood tests are needed
Safe testosterone prescribing relies on accurate hormone and baseline safety bloods, which are arranged and charged separately from the consultation when needed.
Blood tests and separate charges
Where clinically indicated, your doctor can arrange a male hormone profile alongside full blood count, PSA, liver, kidney and lipid checks.
If you simply want to check your numbers first, you can book the standalone hormone blood test directly; a TRT consultation is the right choice when you want a doctor to interpret the findings, advise on suitability and oversee any treatment.
If you would rather look at hormone levels as part of a full cardiovascular, metabolic and organ check, compare our Well Man examinations (optional context rather than a prerequisite for TRT).
