Contact UsA GP practice, not a walk-in factory
Medical Express Clinic is a private GP practice at 117a Harley Street, open seven days a week for same-day and walk-in appointments. Our GPs see the same patients year after year: families, professionals, and people who want one doctor who knows their history rather than a different face every visit.
Every consultation is £150 with no time limit. You will be examined thoroughly, listened to without hurry, and leave with a plan. If you need blood tests, an ECG, a prescription or a specialist referral, it happens in the same visit, not in three weeks' time.
Why patients choose a Harley Street GP
Continuity of care
You can request the same GP at every appointment. Your records, results and referrals stay in one place, so each visit builds on the last, the way general practice is supposed to work.
Same-visit diagnostics
Over 1,000 blood tests taken on site with results from the same day, ECGs in the room, and X-rays or imaging arranged directly, with no second trip and no chasing.
Seen today
Same-day appointments and walk-in consultations seven days a week. If something is worrying you this morning, a senior GP can examine you this afternoon.
Direct specialist access
When you need more than general practice, your GP refers you directly to cardiology, gynaecology, urology, psychiatry and more, many available within this building or on this street.

£100Common questions
Q.How much does it cost to see a GP on Harley Street?
Our private GP consultation is £150 with no time limit, so you are never rushed out after ten minutes. Follow-up appointments are £100. Blood tests, vaccinations and procedures are priced individually on our fees page.
Q.Can I see a Harley Street GP today?
Yes. We offer same-day appointments and welcome walk-in patients seven days a week, 9am to 6pm, at 117a Harley Street. Booking ahead guarantees your preferred time and doctor.
Q.Do I need to register to see a private GP?
No registration or membership is required. You can be seen as a one-off visitor. That said, most of our patients return, because your records stay with us and you can request the same GP every time.
Q.Can you do blood tests and X-rays in the same visit?
Yes. Over 1,000 blood tests are taken on site with same-day results available for many panels, ECGs are done in the consultation room, and X-rays or further imaging are arranged directly by your GP, usually the same day.
Q.Will you share my records with my NHS GP?
Only with your explicit consent. We can provide letters and results in whatever format you prefer to share with your NHS practice or other providers.
Q.Can a private GP refer me to a specialist?
Yes. Our GPs refer directly to consultant cardiologists, gynaecologists, urologists, psychiatrists and other specialists, many of whom practise within our building or on Harley Street, typically far faster than an NHS referral pathway.
