Do I need a GP referral for fertility screening?
No referral is needed. You can send an enquiry directly. NICE recommends that couples who have not conceived after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse (or 6 months if the woman is over 36) should be investigated, but you are welcome to test proactively at any time.
