Q.What does the immunity screening test for?
The Basic tier covers nutritional deficiencies that affect immunity (vitamin D, B12, zinc, magnesium), inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR), metabolic profiling, and thyroid function. The Plus tier adds a consultation with a consultant immunologist, T-cell and B-cell subset analysis, and the ALEX allergy panel covering over 300 individual allergens.
Q.Who should consider immunity screening?
Anyone experiencing recurrent infections, slow recovery from illness, persistent fatigue with no clear cause, or suspected allergies. It is also relevant after prolonged illness where immune function may have been affected.
Q.How quickly will I get results?
Standard blood markers return within 3-5 working days. The ALEX allergy panel and T-cell/B-cell analysis (Immunity Plus) take 7-14 working days due to the specialist laboratory processing involved.
