We would suggest fixing an appointment with one of our specialists who offer travel vaccines to get health related advice through the phone or email. At the initial appointment, our travel health advisers will discuss your planned itinerary and comprehensive travel health risk assessment in more detail. This includes understanding any medical conditions that you may have and any medication you take.
After this, the necessary vaccinations or malaria tablets you need for the trip will be suggested. During your consultation, we will discuss the right schedule to obtain any recommended vaccination course and plan them together so that you may complete them before travelling. If you are asked to take malaria tablets, the most appropriate one will be dispensed from the clinic during an appointment. Besides that, we will talk about other travel health items such as a sterile medical kit, mosquito nets, travellers’ diarrhea kit, insect repellents and water purifiers.
At our travel health clinic in London, we provide walk in and pre-booked appointments facility. However, patients may have to wait as we give first priority to booked appointments and would encourage you to book your appointment in advance.
Regretfully, we cannot provide travel health advice via phone or email due to medical and legal reasons. But you can always discuss your travel health requirements in detail with a specialist at the travel clinic. Feel free to call us or write to us and we will be happy to help you.
Patients who want to receive either shingles vaccine or pneumococcal vaccine will have to pay for it at the time of booking. This enables us to order the vaccine for the appointment.
