At Medical Express Clinic, patients may attend our clinic in Central London where we offer this service for both children and adults. Our Harley Street clinic is where trained staff will take a sample of your blood for testing.
ISAC test is a blood test that uses microchip technology to detect specific IgE antibodies, commonly known as an allergy, to food and airborne allergens. It enables concurrent measurement of antibodies to various allergen components in a test with a few µl of plasma or serum only. The pre-selected allergens consist of the most relevant cross-reactive markers.
This is the combination of modern biochip technology by using cutting edge research for molecular allergology that has lead to ImmunoCAP® ISAC. It is highly advanced in vitro diagnostic test for instantaneous measurement of definite IgE antibodies for a wide range of allergen components.
The IgE chip delivers optimum results for more than hundred components from at least 50 allergen sources.
The ImmunoCAP® ISAC test consists of detailed information about allergen specific IgE antibody in one step.
This allows for the investigation of patients that require less resources and time. Due to this, optimized management may begin earlier that leads to improved health of the patient and quality of life. The test is affordable when compared to the price of testing of sIgE to allergens individually.
If you are residing in London and wish to undergo ISAC allergy testing, for both adults and children, with availability for follow up consultation, testing and treatment with our Consultant Immunologist in the UK, then schedule an appointment by call us on 0207 499 1991.
The results will be received within 2 working weeks, following which you can arrange an appointment with our specialist to interpret them, diagnose of any allergies and potential treatment plans. We are always happy to refer patients back into the National Health Service
If you have further queries, need a consultation session, treatment, or if any problems are detected throughout the testing method, book an appointment with our team of specialists.
